M365 Miami
On February 7, 2025 I presented to an international audience of 20 highly engaged individuals in the Miami Dade College Cybersecurity Center of the Americas. In this session, we discussed Microsoft Purview’s new solution DSPM for AI and how it can be leveraged to effectively protect sensitive data, understand and prevent oversharing, as well as identify Shadow AI usage. Audience members included both students at Miami Dade College as well as IT professionals.

M365 Security and Compliance User Group (Apr)
On April 30, 2025, I presented to an international audience of 72 highly engaged individuals at a virtual meetup of the Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance User Group. In this session, we discussed Microsoft Purview’s new solution DSPM for AI and how it can be leveraged to effectively protect sensitive data, understand and prevent oversharing, as well as identify Shadow AI usage.

M365 Community Conference
On May 7, 2025, I presented to an audience of 100 highly engaged IT professionals in-person at the M365 Community Conference in Las Vegas. In this session, we discussed Microsoft Purview’s new solution DSPM for AI and how it can be leveraged to effectively protect sensitive data, understand and prevent oversharing, as well as identify Shadow AI usage.


Canadian Cloud Summit
On June 19, 2025, I presented to a virtual audience of 50 highly engaged attendees at the Canadian Cloud Summit. In this session, we discussed Microsoft Purview’s new solution DSPM for AI and how it can be leveraged to effectively protect sensitive data, understand and prevent oversharing, as well as identify Shadow AI usage.

M365 Twin Cities
On September 19, 2025, I presented to an audience of 42 highly engaged attendees at M365 Twin Cities. In this session, we highlighted, defined, and explained the many features of Microsoft Purview. Attendees came away with a working knowledge of Purview and its many parts, providing them with the knowledge they need to answer the question “Now What?”.


M365 Ottawa
On September 26, 2025, I presented 2 sessions at M365 Ottawa.
The first session, “The Two Sides of the Data Coin: Data Protection vs. Data Retention in Practice” took 25 highly engaged in-person attendees through data protection and data retention – highlighting their distinct goals, implementation strategies and governance implications. Through sharing real-world practical lessons learned, attendees gained a clear understanding of how protection and retention work together (and where they diverge) to form a resilient, future-ready data governance strategy.

The second session, “AI Gone Wild? Purview and Defender to the Rescue” took 47 highly engaged in-person attendees through an in-depth overview of Purview and Defender, focusing on the platform’s AI governance capabilities. Through real-world use cases, this session showed attendees how these platforms can be deployed and configured to mitigate specific risks without stifling AI innovation. Attendees learned how to implement practical strategies to control AI-driven processes while maintaining operational efficiency.

Experts Live USA
On October 10, 2025, I presented 1 session and participated in 1 panel at the very first Experts Live USA.
The session “I’ve Got Microsoft Purview! … Now What?” was presented to 32 highly engaged in-person attendees. In this session, we highlighted, defined, and explained the many features of Microsoft Purview. Attendees came away with a working knowledge of Purview and its many parts, providing them with the knowledge they need to answer the question “Now What?”.


The panel “Rising Together: Allyship, Acceleration & Women Who Lead Tech Forward” moderated by Heather Cook and Antonio Maio and held in front of 100 audience members, dove into the critical role of allyship and inclusive leadership in shaping the future of tech. We reminisced on our first jobs, what mentorship and sponsorship means to us, and how AI can help support leaders in amplifying the voices of others.


CollabDays New England
On October 17, 2025, I presented to an audience of 35 highly engaged attendees at CollabDays New England. In this session, we provided a solid overview of Microsoft Defender and reviewed how it can strengthen organizations security posture in the era of AI. We highlighted key capabilities so that attendees gained actionable insights and came away with a working knowledge of its features, preferred implementation order in complex environments, and key considerations for Organizational Change Management to support successful deployments.
